Candle Care
The first lighting is the most important. To ensure that the surface is always even, burn your candle for up to 4 hours the first time, or until the wax has melted to the edges.
After the first use, burn the candle for up to 3 hours at a time. The recommended burn time is between 1 ½ hours and 3 hours to get the best scent from your candle.
Trim the wick if necessary before each burn. A small flower may form at the tip of the wick (this is perfectly normal), simply remove the small petals with your fingers or trim them carefully with a wick trimmer or scissors.
This candle is 100% soy wax, so when it cools it may have imperfections typical of working with natural raw materials.
The best way to extinguish it is to use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the wax with a toothpick.
When the candle has 5 mm of wax at the bottom, it is burnt out and it is recommended not to burn it any further.
These candles tend to drip when burning, so we recommend using some kind of base or plate to contain the wax.
